The Coy family has been raising and showing cattle in the heart of the central valley for 25 years. Bryan and Shari used to travel the state of California showing cattle and soon Travis and Tyler came along and they began their interest in the cattle as well. Travis started showing cattle at the age of 3 and continued all the way through his junior years. Tyler started showing Boer goats and moved to showing cattle in his high school years. Jackpot weekends were the perfect way to spend quality family time together, incorporating responsibility and a hard work ethic into our children.
We purchased some of the best genetics we could find, and showed them as heifers and turned them into our cow herd. We use an A.I. program and do quite a bit of Embryo transfer work, to ensure we have top quality, competitive cattle. The last few years, we have raised and sold steers and heifers that have dominated the junior show circuit. We raise Angus, Club calves, Shorthorn and Maine-Anjou cattle. We are dedicated to raising the soundest, easy feeding, calmest temperament cattle we can offer.
We strive to help juniors who purchase cattle from us, be successful in every way possible. We pass along as much knowledge and guidance to them from daily feeding to grooming, and showmanship. We want every aspect of their cattle showing career to be a positive, and rewarding experience, so they will continue showing cattle and inherit the drive to succeed.
